The BFI Flipside presents two previously unavailable, unique and compelling films directed by William Dumaresq and Joseph Despins. Duffer is a bizarre study of obsession that is by turns beautiful and disturbing, featuring sound design from acclaimed electronic composer Delia Derbyshire, while The Moon Over the Alley (1976) is an equally unconventional drama about the problems of the multicultural residents of a West London boarding house with fantastic musical numbers by Galt 'Hair' MacDermot.
