The presentations were a platform to demonstrate that film is central to people’s everyday lives and plays an important role in our national culture.
Other themes to emerge during these discussions were:
- Increasing access to and encouraging debate on film heritage is central to a vibrant film culture.
- The digital age is providing audiences with new ways to access and interact with film.
